What I'm saying is we have fantastic communicators in the government, particularly our treasure of a treasurer Joe Hockey.
Have a listen to him expounding in those interviews how his caring budget looks after the most vulnerable in our community.

Isn't it amazing how he can be so generous with the people on struggle street, keep the election mantra of "No new Taxes" and still reform the absolutely dysfunctional economy he inherited!

Look at those interest rates Joe inherited and compare them to what the rates were when Howard was PM. Rates under Howard were 6.75% but Joe has had to deal with the interest rate disaster left by the previous government.

    2.75%!

    How does he manage!

Look at the 960,000 jobs created under the former government. What a disaster that was for the economy! Our treasured treasurer has turned that around hasn't he? Already he has boosted the unemployment rate and passed the good old USA. What a fantastic achievement. There is nothing like higher unemployment to lift the spirits of the people on struggle street.

And taxation! Here Joe really does have a problem. The Howard government was the highest taxing government in Australia's history but toward the end of its term on office it began to reduce rates in an unsuccessful effort to regain popular support. Rudd for whatever reason continued to reduce taxes and so did Gillard. Now we really do have a structural problem. Taxation rates are now lower than they should be but Joe, the champion of struggle street must keep the promise of "No New Taxes"

    Can he do it?

    Will he do it?

Do you want him to lie and introduce things like the rumoured $7 GP tax?
