Most HC people love gaps, but they forget lots of gaps when it suits the story they are telling. For example the gap on PAK at 4.2c, the gap at 5c, the gap at 5.5c, the gap 6c and the massive gap from 6.5 to 8c.
Prices go up and down, so by logical deduction most gaps are filled, but obviously not all gaps are filled.
The best moves are made from breakaway gaps, but you really only know they are breakaway gaps well into the future. A bit like most Elliott wave counts.
FA is far from the be all and end all and TA will lead/foretell/predict/win just as much. It is hard to combine all the information, but IMHO gaps are very overrated and the obsession with them needing to be filled overblown.
