I note that, following modifications to fix problems they have been having, White Coal Energy expects to have its coal briquette plant operating at full capacity by end of this year.

It sounds like the upgrading of Bayan's Tabang coal has been reasonably successful (that is, the upgrading has been successful nothwithstanding they have only been able to get the plant running at 50% or something).

From memory, last year they entered a deal with Bayan to significantly increase the tonnage they were going to feed into the plant.

We might see Pakar coal heading that way next year...
