He was put in power by the military , who by the way are still a huge force in Pakistani politics and liable to stage a coup at the drop of a hat if they don't get what they want .
Word is , military have turned against him .
Certainly his own party has .
No US intervention required ....one way or another this man will not stay in power basically because NO power group wants him .

Might go to a quick election but he's been stuffing up the economy so ....
High court to decide .... but only delaying the inevitable .

Blaming the US as far as I can see a ploy to gain sympathy as no way would US be stupid enough to get involved .
When his own team disown him why would you need to even if you wanted to ?
But you believe if it keeps you happy .
