It could be teething problems as it is the first and only operating EPR reactor , it was developed and 30% owned by French company Framatome. When you look into this company the information seems like they were dodgy and the steel used to produce these reactors and pressure vessel's for the EPR reactors has failed QA/QC, and they were investigated for falsifying records.
