Palestinians may continue to tread water when this madness ends. But they could do much better. That said, Israeli Arabs must be calling into severe questioning how loyal they actually are to Israel. It appears many are not loyal. That adds a new dimension to this issue. Maybe Israel got it wrong in trusting them with the highest standard of living in the Middle East.

The highest standard of living in the mid east was Iraq before the first invasion by Bush Snr.
