"Your suggestion that somehow relates a "pattern" is really very stupid and displays clearly your misunderstanding (or deceitful intention to present incorrectly) of what and why Israel is doing in Gaza - it completely ignores the fact that for 15 years Hamas and their ilk have been firing tens of thousands of rockets into Israel, pose a daily and deadly threat, and that their intent is to wipe out israel. There is no correlation between a bunch of people signing the pin petition and Israel's necessary action." ---------- When Hamas won a democratic and endorsed by the collective West elections almost 20 years ago, the Israelisl didn't like this very unexpected win and shortly after that decided to seal the Gaza Strip off from the outside world. Since then the Israelis have been controlling land, air, and sea borders and Gaza became an open air concentration camp. Did you know that? When you push people and treat them like that, when they have no future for themselves and their children, what do you expect Hamas's military arm to do?
As a side note, the Israelis did a lousy job of controlling the border with Egypt. Huge volumes of all sorts of goods and people had been flowing undetected over and underground. This allowed Hamas to source some of their supplies needed to build their armaments. Did you know that?
