I get the feeling that the shorters have been losing steam recently - still plenty of shorts outstanding but the early morning plunges do not seem to be as dramatic.
If so, possibly because most of the nellies among the LTH would be gone by now.
With only nominal greenfield drilling currently being carried out at Hartog et al the shorters may still feel reasonably safe from being bowled out by a new discovery.
