    Metals are showing twitchy volatility on the last trading day of 2014, as the oil price again comes under pressure and the dollar has some upward momentum. The metals have given up some of yesterday’s gains, but it’s a dangerous trading market for today, as London already closed and participation is extremely thin. There may be some increased volatility at 8:30 a.m. EST as weekly jobless claims  numbers are released.  Palladium is our last metal standing, with a positive performance for 2014 and supply deficits. Economic growth in 2015 will continue to affect palladium supplies, along with rhodium, which is in a similar situation, both may be the metal stars of 2015.
