I'm quite happy to argue our political differences with those on the left of me or the right. Whoever wins in a fair fight is democracy speaking. Cop it on the chin.
But, only people have a vote in a democracy. One vote, one value is the common refrain. So I'm glad you value it. Those who believe that we should override one vote, one value with much money, much influence are more interested in authoritarianism than democracy. Would they feel the same if it were Bill Gates?
The rise of China has taught the corporate state an important point. They don't need democracy to make big profits, in fact, its more of a hindrance.
