The LS zone is supposed to be sandstone rather than shale. As we know sandstone is naturally permeable and thus is known to be a good resevoir material for an oil trap.

I'm just a little surprised to hear them fracking a sandstone resevoir given that they didn't report facking the fruitvale section below which was shale.

Maybe they are fracking all the zones which is why it is taking so long and they simply didn't mention it previously.
