Well, I hope Leon & team lob in a low bid for Paltar Petroleum.

The 26 March presentation says CTP is open to E&P transactions. Whether they regard the Paltar acreage as attractive remains to be seen. Beetaloo straddles the Amadaeus and McArthur River gas pipes, so customers exist. Origin is already drilling Beetaloo and might be open to JV - though if they like the acreage, they will bid themselves.

CTP is still cash constrained and already has plenty of drill targets. Government has been repeatedly and successfully lobbied by CTP to vary and delay exploration permit activity requirements. At some stage it will get grumpy.
