PAM's maiden JORC mineral resource could be on time although it's safe to give some leeway in case they need more time so it could be next week or in the first week of April. From memory Paul mentioned end of March or start of April. I doubt there would be much slippage beyond that.
We'll know it is the right announcement when PAM issues a trading halt similar to what GL1 did a couple weeks ago.
I think there will be another infill drilling update for Reung Kiet end of March or early April based on the previous announcements. PAM will also continue to do smaller updates on their progress to keep shareholders engaged with a better news flow.
April will be important for investors to see if PAM can get their second drill rig into operation, Reung Kiet expansion licences approved and early metallurgical results.
On another note, I checked on the new Ranong project (possibly like Kata Thong but bigger). PAM advised details would be announced after the map outlines have been approved by the Thai gov. Ranong applications look to be 'advanced' (6-9 months ahead of MAT's applications here - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-matsa-grows-thailand-presence-via-new-lithium-applications.6569846/). Hopefully news of the licence applications within the next couple months and then a wait for final approvals.
Kata Thong licences are 'very advanced' and the Q1 quarterly report mentioned it would be ready for final approval in Q1 2022.
EPLA 2/2564 Kata Thong expansion reached the final approval stage from the Q1 quarterly report update. It's been almost a couple months since then so it could mean Kata Thong takes a little extra time while as once it is 'ready for final approval' it then then needs to wait for 'final approval' from DPIM (Department of Primary Industries and Mines). DPIM in Bangkok seem to be working at a snail's pace since COVID hit and need to work faster. Paul has assured no foreseeable problems with licence approvals.
Not to be distracted by everything new and shiny. PAM has enough projects in the short term which are Reung Kiet, Bang I Tum, Bang Now and Khao Soon with approved licences to keep them busy.
