as a summary, it seems they are drilling around the edges of the fields to define them - the market wants instant satisfaction via increased production rates which it could've achieved by just infill wells through the guts of the fields - They are thinking long term which is great and reserves seem to have been neutrally effected but seeing they promised increased prod rates, I'm not sure why they've taken this higher risk strategy (and testing stuff below the oil/water contact - what the f? - all that has done has put up sh!tty numbers like 1 bopd which is going to spook the nervous and uninformed) Price currently is at a level which builds in no expectations or blue sky so maybe the Canadians reaction of just market perform was to be expected
