Namibia: TotalEnergies contracts second rig for Venus appraisal campaign
"TotalEnergies has secured a second rig for what will be a very high-profile exploration and appraisal drilling campaign offshore Namibia next year. The move to charter Northern Ocean’s semi-submersible rig Deepsea Mira confirms a recent Upstream report that the supermajor was looking at bringing two rigs into Namibia to accelerate drilling plans on and around its huge Venus oil discovery."
