When things get tough as they inevitably do from time to time, the real folk, who would be the only ones ever allowed to enter heaven, if it existed, create vaccines, nurse the sick, dig graves, produce food, the religious put their hands up and preach, invoking a product of their own minds. God entered this pretzel's heart no less.
If this scrawny rooster had God in his heart he wouldn't be preaching, he'd be doing something useful. He wouldn't be invoking the devil all the time, he would actually be providing a service to humanity.
The devil is fully represented by the dolts of fundamental religion who offer spiritual charity, comforting words in $1,000 suits and grasp human misery as a marketing opportunity.
