Very true, but then the whole country is full of "handwringer" covid people, the politicians first and foremost. Nearly all Australians born after around 1950 have had comfortable, safe lives, so it's expected that they are unable to handle a crisis. Again, our politicians, by not having a national plan for managing covid and not securing enough vaccines (and then frightening an already frightened population away from the vaccines they did have), have delivered a masterclass in stupidity, ignorance and helplessness.
