The best the government can do is revoke or revise the tax, GST and other source of revenue like putting police out at every corner to issue speeding tickets should be abolished until the pandemic is over.

When one makes less money one either pays less tax or no tax at all. In other words, only those with capacity to pay are required to pay tax.
