    IMO, job seeker should have only been offered to those who were unemployed because of Covid and the Government's mandatory lock-down and
    Job Keeper should have been more accurately targeted too.

    Neither party has indicated by whom and when our mountain is going to be paid down.
    If the globe hits a bout of inflation sending sovereign bond rates sky high, then we're in more strife than Ned Kelly!

    We had a bad recession in 1980-1984 and we hit historically high interest rated about 5 years later.

    What if that happens again..eh?

    We have $1.3 trillion combined Governments' debt at say 2%...that's $26 billion a year in interest rates without paying down any capital
    If that shoots up to say 6% then we would have real problems staying afloat economically businesses and individuals simply can't stand any higher tax rates. Our only hope would be to compel multinationals who are not paying now, to pay corporate tax.One third of our top 500 corporations pay
