That will be a truly transformational moment in the history of the people of Bougainville. Apart from independence they will be able to build and pay for first world infrastructure—roads, an airport and ports, schools and a hospital etc etc—and to fund their people's future. Hopefully the money won't be pissed away like happened to the people of Nauru's money.
