an ex partner used to have panic attacks - which started in puberty, and was told that maybe they would finish with menopause. watso cannot recall too much about it - except that she would get flashing lights in her eyes (or something like that) - and then she would be very weak, after the episode subsided... episodes seemed to happen every few months - it was as if something sort of built up, and then had to be released.
anyway, she was put on some anti depressant medication - but she very much controlled it - taking 1/4 tablet per day
