Slippin, Prof. Martin Pall wrote a book Explaining Unexplained Illnesses aimed at chronic fatigue and ME sufferers but he included PTSD within the scope of his paradigm. Even if you are well but with a curiosity about medicine, this is thought provoking stuff. The cycle itself is technical and I don't understand any more than basic principles but a more adventurous medical fraternity would take his work further.
