Mumof 2 if these are only new to you get to your doctor pronto with the open option to be prescribed ssri's.
I assume when viewed by those most normal (yes their is a normal, not absolute but enough to prove the rule).
So you are not a big drinker, dope smoker, dramatic in personality already, likes drama and dramatic things as they relate to you or at any time from early 20's to modernly.....I assume you are normal.
If normal before your brain learns a different way get it under control.......normal people have hickups too...it's not 1996 anymore and science understands SSRI's very well, if just panic attacks and the person has had a stable 'normal' outlook all their adult life...they will set you straight again...give you a breather..let you organize yourself etc etc.
Again if you have had past extra problems consult deeper past your GP as these panic attacks are probably more like a continuation of that theme...different possible but all from the same box.
Only you know your reality but if not already medicated and these attacks are truly new and not part of a theme (so to speak)...get with it and fix it...within a few hours they will be controlled and one may only. need a couple months of such medication to for ones brain to sort stuff out again...back to normal.
For 'normal' people SSRI's can be like magic.
good luck.
