Timber, possibly Spain and Italy aren't possible contenders for the euro exit...yet... but Portugal and Ireland may well follow what ever the Greeks decide to do.
That is if the democratic right of it's people is tested and initiated.
Spain and Italy may well drag on the potential of the EZ for decades.
The size of the Italian problem is mind boggling and I can't see Berlusconi or any one else with the leadership capabilities (how many governments have the Italian's had in the last 30 years?) to impose the necessary curbs on wasteful spending.
But if the EZ can contain Greece it is entirely possible to keep this disjointed economic mismatch together. That said you've got to wonder why they'd bother.
