I sent a comment on HC on 27/4/20 and am staggered that this idea of paper confirmation from the registries has not been exploited/disrupted by the digital world. I am low tech. but sense there must be impediments such as historical/transaction data etc stalling the conversion away from paper confirmations. Most listed companies nowadays ask if you want to receive all info.(div statements, coy announcements etc) via email ;it is their preference from a expense point of view(postage, paper). In my lifetime it will occur(approx 20yrs to go)
