This is good news, with such a dominant market share in Australia and pressure to return to profit , a 7% increase in price can only go straight to the bottom line .
Very hard to do the numbers to determine just what impact that will have , but I have no issue with seeing a drop in revenue , and a jump in profitability .
Even happy to see them close and sell off business units that are cash suckers and just stick with the business units that spit out profitable revenue
Any sale of assets that generates capital would be well spent bujing back the preference shares , and reducing short term debt now the pxupa are sub $20
No point having revenue of $4 billion if the only profiteers are the buyers of PPX product not the dshareholders who are sitting on sub 10c stock when it was over .60c , and even $4 just 3 years ago with quite similar revenues
