I did a course of pentosan earlier this year to treat severe OA in my lower back. My OA symptoms completely disappeared.

As well as the OA there were other issues in the vicinity secondary to the OA, probably caused by the local inflammation - a small cyst causing sciatica, and some moderate bulging of the disks. The sciatica has also resolved. Whether or not the pentosan was involved is unknown, could have resolved by itself.

I’m back to doing a hundred kettlebell swings every day. If you Google that exercise you’ll see it’s a very strong lower back weight exercise. I’m pretty happy with this result.
