Why would any patient be on PPS in a post-operative setting, in an orthopaedic ward? What are you talking about?
PPS is an elective treatment that is taken for a fixed period of time (six weeks) with 1/15th - 1/20th of a heparin like effect, and a 5 hour clearance time from the body.
