Not quite what happened. I consulted with a sports medicine specialist who has a lot of experience treating patients with pentosan. I was properly assessed and we agreed pentosan was appropriate. He provided the prescription and I engaged a compounding pharmacy for the preparation. The treatment was taken under medical supervision before, during, and after in followup, with imaging, bloodwork and other assessments.
My point being, the treatment was obtained under prescription and in an appropriate medical context. I wouldn’t suggest anyone try and diy it.
