1) It adds weight to investor's knowledge of us. We are an officially larger company, we rank more highly on the list of larger companies, officaily. We have market cap, we have stability, we have liquidity (shares) and our Volatility and ATR of share fluctuation is stabilised. We gain kudos.

2) We become part of a recongnised index. Under ASX 300 we are just a company listed on the ASX, In the ASX 300 we become a club member, Think of it as not being allowed into Pool_Boy's club....and all of a sudden paying the membership and becoming a member...NOW you get to mingle with class.

3) There are large institutions, super funds...Hedge funds, Super Funds that must, are compelled, to take a stake in EVERY company in a given index, this means demand for us goes up as they need to buy a representation...it becomes more acute as we shoot up the ladder, ie Top 200....ooooh Top 100...and one day we crack the Top 50 *yes*.

4) Point 3) covers it but please don't forget about the BIG American institutions and Fund Managers...the Big Boys...we get on to their radars as we climb..this makes a difference.

5) Some Super funds are not allowed to invest in anything smaller than ASX300..we become eligible to be sighted on their radars too.

All of the above play a role in our liquidity and finally demand...as I said...perhaps not immediately over-night...but it should have an accreditve impact over time.
