Every year for the last 4 years I’ve been attending a beaut options seminar in Orlando. Sure it’s a long way to go (around 23 hours flying time one way) but in truth, I love the journey as much as the actual seminar. Every year the guy that runs it always gives us a bonus or two. It might be an bonus class or one year it was a lovely bottle of Kentucky Bourbon from an aged barrel from a distillery privately held by a pal of his. (I’m waiting for a certain company to achieve a successful Third Phase trial before cracking it open, how long do I have to wait and any guesses as to which company I'm waiting for?). Last year it was free Crypto coins that he had personally mined back in 2014.

All a nice story mozzarc, I’m really happy for you but what does this have to do with Par? Well I’m glad you asked; I draw parallels with my yearly seminar travel experience to our investment in Par.The journey is fun, the trip is exciting, I love the final seminar and meeting new people with common goals, I love the education, the research and the discoveries along with the option strategies which may lead to some good gains one day, yes there are times when we feel we might be going a little backwards or a boring class or subject, it can’t always be thrilling. These are the very times to sit back and reflect on what we have and what the future might hold. In our life with PAR it’s times like now that we can step back and savour the journey we are on. Like last week, its at these sort of times you pick up a few more shares before the real show, when its quiet and its slow and no one is on to it yet in a big way, the Giant Sleeps. Even this week is quiet though a step up in price after last week. Yeah all very good, what about the bonus? Read on my dear Paradigmers.

Let’s talk about endpoints first. The entire goal, the focus, the primary end point for OA second phase trial was to determine if we can achieve pain reduction.PAR set this primary endpoint hurdle at not just a small amount like 15% the bare minimum. Not by a more decent hurdle such as 30% a clinically meaningful amount that would get us through potential commercialisation , no they set it at 50% (51 Cap reference) ! And we smashed it in late December 2018. A nice pre Christmas gift indeed.

The next results were the secondary endpoints: 1- Change in KOOS Symptom Score - We want symptoms to decrease, its a little subjective but adds some positive weight to the results. 2- Change in KOOS Function Score - Not only we want pain to reduce, we should get back some functionality of the joint. 3 -Changes in KOOS Quality of Life 4 - Patient Global impression of change 5 - Change in Bone Marrow Lession in Volume by MRI - The most objective of tests, eliminates the Placebo effect! 6 - No Adverse effects - No point of having all of the above points duly ticked BUT PPS leads to death or a heart attack or something sinister. 7 - Complete Blood Cell count I'm guessing we don't want to lose any or too many of these 8 - Coagulation - it is a mild thinner but no problems here.
The above were tested at varying intervals of days, of course there is no point in such a drug if all the above is passed BUT it only lasts for 12 hours and you need another injection for the next 12 hours, not practical!Needless to say we passed all of the Secondary Endpoints which was released to the market earlier this year, a great outcome. In fact not only we passed but we made it through as being Statistically significant AND Clincally meaningful and the p value was under the important 0.05.

Ok ok the bonus? This in my opinion was the clincher, the accelerant, yes the bonus. Levels of COMP were found to reduce! What does this mean? A bit like a passport that’s required to travel to my seminar, this is also a sure proof of identification of the power of iPPS. If the levels of this biomarker decrease, we are literally halting the onset of cartilage destruction. Revolutionary. In my view this along with the MRI proof that we have received is the propellant that will lead to real SP appreciation and the ultimate destination. Gan_Gans1 also pointed it out, DMOAD was the real bonus for us. PAR was already good, now its better.
Other bonuses are coming such as the results from the ten American patients , the hopeful “YES” from the TGA to start meaningful revenues and a whole heap of others but Paradigmers, armed with our endpoint success and bonus results we have just achieved, please ensure your passport, your paperwork and your share investment in PAR are in order as we are heading upwards and in the right direction on this exciting journey!

My views are highly positive, I’ve done a crazy amount of research but I also personally ask myself “What happens if I’m wrong, if there is an unforeseen disaster, can I survive such a hit?”
