What i meant was Grantham is right, this time.
Stocks in general are overpriced.
Yes he is something of a Cassandra, but he isn't the only one thinking stocks are overpriced.
Problem is, even though i was in the market in the 80s too, i still haven't found a look-ahead crystal ball that tells me when there will be a breakdown or long slide.
What i do recall of the 2007-9 slide is that for the whole period there were ''experts'' spruiking 50+ buy signals a week, and plenty more in 2007 seeing no end in sight to ever increasing stock prices.
