The need for PPS seems to be pressing.
Check out the link at 1:20 where David Pisetsky, MD, PhD, of Duke University says that they do not have a specific therapy for OA, when speaking about using prednisolone for inflamamtory OA. Prednisolone has some pretty unsavoury side effects (e.g. agitation, insomnia, mood swings, dry and itchy skin) and is usually limited to a few days. If people with say severe asthma or allergies use it for longer they have to gradually wean themselves off again. I can't help thinking PPS would be a superior alternative for OA.
