I know on Zip Money for example if you were to make a larger purchase, say $10k and want 3 years interest free, ZIP charge the vendor 18% plus you the have the monthly account fees for the purchaser. The Vendor of course is not permitted to adjust the price. I know this as I was trying to decide if I sell some shares to fund something I was purchasing for my house and my mates company has Z1P as a payment option. Even with an 18% increase I will still likely use Z1p to fund as I feel it is very unlikely I wont see an 18% rise over the next 3 years. Plus with the new tax cuts coming in the government is basically going to fund it for me = Win/Win.
