All sounds pretty persuasive to me, although with the caveat that presumably it was put together by, or with the assistance of PAR, and, in my experience, legal advice around anything is seldom presented as an unequivocal assurance.

So, presumably then, despite the patent covering pets and zoo animals, the local vet can continue to treat your arthritis-ridden family pooch with iPPS, even if he's got BME in every bone in his body (the pooch I mean), but, for human mammals, different criteria would apply?

In any event, it sounds like it would take a long time, and cost a lot of money, to mount a challenge to the IP, and by that time, as the report points out, Zilosul should be well established as the default treatment for OA.

Sounds like PAR and their advisers have done a pretty solid job.

PPS could become the 'new Aspirin' if they keep finding applications for it.
