Hi DAAC, I struggled to comprehend this part as well. But after reading it over a few times, I think this is what he means (please correct me if I'm off base, Pickem!)
The chart in the 2nd post of this thread states that Neoplasia (cancer) % is 26 for mammals.
Dr Sabbatini estimates that 80% of mammalian cancer is MTOR-related. So if you could eliminate these MTOR cancers you'd only have 20% of the original cancers to worry about (so the mammalian cancer rate would theoretically be 5.2% instead of 26%)
