Below is an exert from my email to buru regarding the fairway rig. I got a reply directly from Eric with his answers in CAPS.
Could you please let me know what is happening with the Fairway rig? I have done a few searches, but haven't found any info on it since the Sundown work-overs. (I may have missed an announcement or 2).
Is this rig still operational? YES
Are there any plans to use it again? YES – FOR WORKOVERS OR POSSIBLY FOR SHALLOW WELLS (<2,000 METRES)
Any info you could provide would be much appreciated. Keep up the good work.
THE RIG SUCCESSFULLY DRILLED SEVERAL WELLS FOR US IN 2010 (INCLUDING PARADISE-1 TO 1,700 METRES) BUT DOES NOT HAVE THE DEPTH CAPACITY TO DRILL OUR CURRENT WELLS. IT IS VERY WELL SUITED FOR HEAVY DUTY WORK OVERS AND IN THAT CAPACITY RAN THE PRODUCTION/FRAC STRING INTO YULLEROO-2.

So good news that this rig is operational as it will potentially save us $$$ in the future.

On another note, Eric stated that he reads this forum. It's good to know he's got his ear to the ground in this sense to, even if us posters only make up a very minor percentage of holders.
