You can understand why David is one of the best fund managers in Australia …. He is positioned in the company beautifully and will no doubt make wonderful returns for his unit holders in the coming 24 months.
It is worth looking at the start of the thread and understanding that Paradice Funds were one of only 2 institutions that backed Northern Star in the earliest of days … and he rode it through to mega returns
Having needed to watch NST so closely, David would have respected the importance of Luke’s role (COO … high expertise in underground mining) in that success story, and this would have made the decision to pile into OBM around July/Aug 2022 much, much easier than most other small gold fund managers who may not have ever heard of him.
