I remember buying the very first iPod here in Australia, it was new and being an avid tech nut was only too happy to have my entire music collection on the device. I had it for quite a while and people asked me what it was and where astounded by it. It took a long while for it to catch on. And catch on it did.
I then saw a catalyst program some years now ago in which a little bio company was touting one shot cures using ddrnai.
Back when the iPod came out I thought to myself I should buy some apple shares and remember thinking there cheap, they where back then, But didn't. Lol
When I saw this show about Benitec, I thought to myself computers have had there day, maybe it's medicals turn and I felt in my gut that this company had it, a complete paradigm shift in the way we treat disease.
So many industries have had to change and are changing at the moment, because of new ways of doing things and in the end it's consumers that make that decision Ubber Vs cabs, iTunes Vs CD, Movie companies Vs streaming, 3D printing etc.
I'm not interested in big pharma or them having anything to do with this and quite frankly think it would be a mistake.
A venture capitalist would be my first preference that would take on there so called business model.
And a New CEO with the same thinking would be my first choice.
Who here with a disease would opt for an ongoing treatment over a one shot cure???
Consumers have your say!
The choice is easy.
Bring on the data I'm in no rush.
