What are the two biggest projects currently under way in W.A. Gorgon, wheatstone. GAS. Offtake deals with Japan, Korea etc. These projects are 2-3 years away from completion and are still advertising for workers. Rio are expanding, Atlas etc. Many companies are saying it is not a bad thing if some projects do not go ahead as the labour is just not available. Yes I do expect the next two years to be great for Perth property. People forget just how small Perth and W.A are population wise. There is limited new supply coming on stream, yet demand is increasing all the time. There is no magic switch that you turn on a mining boom and then turn it off same with property takes years to filter through. I have absolutely no intention of keeping property for years and years I will sell some in the next few years or maybe buy into premium property as the market moves. But the death of mining and property is a myth.
