The Qantas CEO says Australia has been talking about building a second airport in Sydney for 23 years, while China has recently been building an airport every 23 days !
Which leads to a slightly wider question of whether Australia has too MUCH democracy, leading to too much protection for vested interests which stops progress as a whole ?
