Sounds like you are in WA - what gives with that 300m stretch of roadworks in Perth not far from the airport? Seems to be taking them an eternity to sort out and a cab driver told me it had effected many businesses. A few months ago, it took me about 15 mins to get through the traffic around 2:30pm on a Friday.
