Day after day I watch. I know the hatchlings are there as I see a stir every now and then. Two weeks ago, one parent was tearing up pieces of mullet on a branch near the nest and then going and regurgitating to willing takers. Not sure how many. Today Mummy just dropped a mullet amongst them and let them sort it out. One standing guard and the most recent provider's head just showing above the nest and the branch the king is sitting on. As an expert in eagle speak, I could hear it shouting, "now it's your pucking turn, get fishing you lazy sod."
