Honnestly, what are they thinking going to war with IS?  It's just a distraction.  3000 years after the Trojan war, the Turks just returned serve to Greece with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi playing the role of the tricky Oodysseus.  Today's Trojan horse is a 800,000 person distraction with likely 100's -1000's of soldiers hidden within.  The enemy is within and the generals don't want to admit they were the ones who opened the gates.
