macron should take a leaf out of Gillard's book... didn't Gillard claim that only the emitters would pay - the plebs would get compensated .. the logic is so simple.
apart from Gillard, krudd also had a good message - as tackling man made climate change would only cost the plebs a dollar or two a year … even scrooge watso could afford that - just to save the planet.

watso read somewhere that despite trump pulling usa out of the paris agreement, that renewables were unstoppable as American companies and states were all aboard the unstoppable renewables train .. if that is the case, then so be it - but trump is making sure that America , under his watch, will not be forking out billions to third world carpet baggers (or beggars or whatever) .
maybe the country needs a few more fish and chip shop owners in parliament - people with a bit of common sense - rather than the political elite who live in a different world
