Agreed, fighting tooth and nail for shareholders to create value is great.
Sometimes, the strategic decisions about which fights to pick or partnerships to create are where the value will be created. Did PE really have to become a fight? (I actually don't know and neither do most posters but they'll spin the story anyway, meantime, Far have benefit of the doubt for now).
Anyway, we'll find out soon enough and management will either be lauded or still lauded.... I couldn't care less as long as SP increases.
