Stop believing that what Rupert Murdock wants is good for Australia. He belongs to the tiny fraction of Americans who own the majority of that country. Except for those with the money to pay, the USA has pathetic systems in health, education, justice, and social welfare. Rupert may believe in the American way but he is a wealthy person. We have some strong and robust social support systems in our country and most thinking Australians want to keep it that way.
This isn't socialism, it's social justice. Try asking a Walmart checkout person how they manage on US$8.56 an hour before pretending our society should be more like that country.
Rupert Murdoch's Australian newspaper is little more than an instrument for his crazy right wing propaganda. The Liberals are trying to wreck our great country with their insane budget and Rupert Murdoch seems to want to help with the destruction.
