parliamentary privilege is sacrosanct. It has served our parliamentary democracy well. We elect our parliamentary representatives to be fearless in carrying out their parliamentary duties.
MPs do occasionally abuse it, but there is a Parliamentary Privileges Committee to deal with such abuse.
