Colostat will eventually be added to the barage of blood tests that are routinely used for other screenings - Cholesterol, BSL ect. - that most people over 40 should/are doing. Its not that hard. Additionally, it will be used in symptomatic cases where someone presents with a change in bowel habits ect. Ultimately the saving is in whether the patient is required to continue to a colonoscopy - which costs medicare around $1000 a pop.
Positive FOT means colonoscopy regardless even though only about 5% return a carcinoma.
There is a huge huge saving for Govt to adopt this test.
Most labs can already handle it, its easy to administer, there will be virtually 100% compliance. Yeah, looks like a pipe dream to me
