I realise this has been talked about before but I would love to hear more thoughts on who the possible parties to a jv might be.
At the time I think someone suggested a neighbouring mining company in Chile while another suggested an Indian steel company.
I would like to know everyone's thoughts on who a "big" jv partner could be? Is the reference to them as having a high value of assets and liquidity a reference to their current standing or a pending rights issue?
Why have only potential foreign companies been suggested? I am curious why it could not be another Aussie company. Instead of competing why couldn't another Aussie company link with ADY? Could it be someone like OneSteel? Although that is pure speculation on my part (and possibly stupid), OneSteel do make claims about being self-sufficient in iron ore and having overseas production interests on their website.
